I just put another tune on my MySpace (link in sig, as always). This one's called Small Talk, and is a laid-back blues written by a Sax on the Web member. _________________ My sound clips. |

Matt, a month later I'm listening to Invitation.
You have a very Brecker-ish style to your playing, very nice, hear very few intonation issues. The one vibrato stretch in the beginning was very spread and intonation sounded bad but I don't think the average person would hear it. I'm really enjoying your improvisation, going very well with the changes. I like it. _________________ JP

Matt: I don't know why I never got around to listening to Invitation, but I finally did. I'm really liking your tone. My only criticism would be that as I listened to it, I felt sometimes like it was headed somewhere, but not so much at other times; it could have had a stronger and more drawn-out build-up-and-release, in my opinion, but I certainly realize that's much easier said than done! Nice job! _________________ My sound clips. |
