Hi all. I just bought my very first saxaphone.
I have never played saxaphone, or really any instrument before.
Am wondering about the alto saxaphone i bought? On the bell it is imprited "Steller". The little ive scoured the web so far, ive yet to hear of Stellar brand of saxaphone.
I bought it from a couple who said they were selling instruments from their sons musical instrument store that he shut down. It was only $220, brand new, which i felt comfortable spending on my first instrument - not knowing if this is something i will want to stay with yet.

Anyone familiar with Stellar brand of saxaphones?

I wouldn't trust anything like that. It is probably a Chinese made cheapie. You would have probably been better off buying a used established brand like Yamaha or a student model Selmer. Let us know how it plays, though.
