I don't hear soprano as much as baritone, alto, and tenor. Who are some good soprano saxophonists i can listen to?

Ken Gorelick (believe it or not), Vann Burchfield, Dave Liebman, Dave Koz (when he does do soprano) _________________ JP

| How can you forget about Sidney Bechet? Aside from Trane, he's probably the best soprano saxophnist I've ever heard. |

Oh yes, you can't forget Sidney. He was the man who brought the soprano saxophone to jazz.
Other soprano players include Trane of course, Branford Marsalis, Steve Lacy, Wayne Shorter, and I know there are others out there. _________________ Audio clips in link below-

Steve Lacy is a well renowned soprano saxophonist. I would definetly recommend the recording: N.Y Quirks & Capers. It is a trio album that features Ronnie Boykins on bass & Denis Charles on the drum kit.
Other excellent soprano saxophonist include:
Urs Leimgruber (doubles on tenor)
Joe McPhee (doubles on tenor)
Jan Garbarek (doubles on tenor)
Evan Parker (doubles on tenor)
Michel Doneda
John Butcher (doubles on tenor)
John Surman (doubles on baritone)
Vinny Golia (plays the entire family with the exception of the alto)
Bhob Rainey
Alesandro Bossetti
Trevor Watts (doubles on alto)
Steve Potts (doubles on alto & was a frequent collaborater of Steve Lacy)
Regards,
