Still wading through grad programs in Education and Practing Sociology while watching spawners swim by my study window -- so compellingly a distraction that out I go again to seek signs of the seasons in mushroom, wildflower and migrating bird call! What I'm Doing Now:
I work on the Klamath Hotshots as a sawyer six months out of the year. For the other six months I surf, travel, ride bikes, and hang out with my family. I'm not currently doing fish work, but those slimy little buggers will never be far from my heart.
On monday, april 10, I will be flying to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, for 16 days. I plan on surfing, swimming, fishing, and practicing my siesta technique.

Making sculpture. I was recently granted a 2006 Summer Residency at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana.
Also, I accepted a Studio Residency in Spatial Arts at San Jose State University in San Jose, California begining in the Fall of 2006.
My sculpture is odly utilitarian in its pursuit of an objective of environmental enhancement. Contemplation of and respect for nature lie at the heart of my methodology.

What I'm Doing Now:
Since Americorp I worked for the Department of Fish and Game and Pacific Marine Fisheries doing salmon work. I also worked a summer for University of Toledo in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation assisting a researcher with carbon research in forest ecosystems. My latest job for the last year and a half has been working for the State Water Resources Control Board,(Downtown Sacramento), in their Grants and Loans Department. I get to help review grant and loan applications for funding of non-point source projects and manage some of the grants and loans projects from the State end to see that the grantee is doing what they said they would do. (My co-worker manages one of the Mattole Restoration projects. :-) If any of you are working for any organizations including,
