Pads are always measured at the widest point of the pad.
Use a ruler with millimeter marks and measure the pad across the surface at the widest point. It's that simple.
Measuring in this manner is the easiest way to proceed. In doing this, you are assuming that the previous installer put the correct size of pad into the instrument.

The proper way is to use a digital micrometer to measure the inside diameter of the pad cup at the widest point in milimeters. _________________ HIS,
